Recently, EA’s Battlefield 6 launched on October 10 and reached more than 745,000 peak concurrent players. That makes it the No. 14 biggest Steam game of all time based on concurrent players. It’s the second time that Battlefield 6 ranks in the top 20 as well, as the game’s open beta stands at No. 2 with more than 520,000 peak concurrent players.

With such a strong catalog of games, narrowing down the standouts to the very best isn’t super easy, but that’s what we’ve attempted with our list of the best Nintendo Switch games. We aimed to include a mix of genres, franchises, and both AAA and indie games.

Since 2015, Rochester, New York’s Strong National Museum of Play has inducted games into its own World Video Game Hall of Fame. While there are plenty of games that deliver a terrific single-player experience, the best co-op games can offer unmatched levels of enjoyment. You and some friends can hop on a game together and make memories that would be impossible to have as a solo player. Co-op games also have a wide amount of replayability, as your experiences in one playthrough can be completely different from the next depending on who you’re playing with. These types of games are often the industry at its finest, and co-op titles are only improving as time goes on.
