Silent Hill f

Silent Hill f is an upcoming survival horror video game developed by NeoBards Entertainment and published by Konami Digital Entertainment. It is the eighth mainline game in the Silent Hill franchise, following Silent Hill: Downpour (2012). Set during the 1960s in the fictional town of Ebisugaoka, Japan, it follows Hinako Shimizu, a high school student who navigates the town, now consumed by fog, while solving puzzles and fighting grotesque monsters to survive.

As Konami felt the series had become overly westernized, the developers moved away from the titular Maine town, where most previous entries took place, and instead set the game in Japan to reinforce a stronger Japanese identity. The company invited Ryukishi07 to write the story and brought back composer Akira Yamaoka, who had worked on the music for multiple previous Silent Hill games.

Announced in 2022, Silent Hill f is scheduled to release for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S in September 2025.

It is the third main game released in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series of video games, following S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, with the game’s narrative and events following the former. It was published in the CIS territories by GSC World Publishing in October 2009, before being released by Deep Silver and bitComposer Games in North America and the PAL region in February 2010.

Silent Hill 2 (Remake 2024)

Silent Hill 2 is a 2024 survival horror game developed by Bloober Team and published by Konami Digital Entertainment. It is a remake of the 2001 video game Silent Hill 2, originally developed by Team Silent, a group within Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo (KCET). It is the first major installment in the Silent Hill series since Silent Hill: Downpour (2012). Like the original game, it follows James Sunderland, a widower, who returns to the eponymous town in Maine upon receiving a letter from his deceased wife, Mary, who claims to be waiting there for him.

Silent Hill: The Short Message

Silent Hill: The Short Message is a 2024 psychological horror game developed and published by Konami Digital Entertainment (with additional development by HexaDrive) for PlayStation 5. The game was announced and released for free on 31 January 2024 and became available for PlayStation Plus members. It follows a teenage girl who receives bizarre text messages from a friend who committed suicide and must look for clues in an abandoned apartment complex in Germany, while a monster covered in cherry blossom petals pursues her and cannot be attacked.
